Ms. Parul Mishra, Research Head

Areas of specialisation: Literature, Death Penalty Laws & Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Ms. Parul currently heads the Research department, where in  she  is actively involved in  conducting a number of empirical studies, papers, and research programmes, majorly focusing on social inequality and the issues that different socio-economic groups face. She is in charge of the administration and coordination of internal and external research and projects, as well as formulating proposals, selecting methodologies, supervising teams, preparing financial statements, and publishing the results. She has done her Master's degree in literature from Kanpur University and a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Bombay Arts Society. She has developed knowledge of literature and an interest in feminist theory, liberal arts, and public policy studies. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London and holds certifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She holds a virtual experience in Introduction to Law from Monash University, Australia and also has Certification in Death Penalty Laws and Advocacy from the Capital Punishment Justice Project in Melbourne.

Ms. Kajal graduated from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi, with a bachelor's degree in literature. She went on to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University to get her bachelor's degree in education, and has done extensive research in the fields of feminist theory, liberal arts, and policy-related studies.  She is presently engaged as the head of operations and Human Resources  where she  handles recruitment, employee development, and provide guidance on HR matters. Additionally,  she collaborates with researchers, assist in project development, and promote a culture of research excellence and fosters a positive work environment, and support the career growth of researchers and staff.

Yashasvi is pursuing his Master's from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi Campus and has completed his bachelor's degree from Delhi University and has done a Diploma in Business Organization and Administration from the Institute Of Basic Business Studies, New Delhi. He handles the publication's content production, which includes defining formatting requirements, determining compelling content, reviewing content, contributing to editorial pieces, and managing the day-to-day operations of the blog. He has previously worked with the marketing team  of the Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. (CCIC), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, as well as the production team at Yamaha Motors India Pvt. Ltd.

Ayush is a Lawyer based in Delhi, who did his B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, GGSIPU. He currently works at CSLR as a Research Executive, where he has led various research projects in the areas of Constitutional Law and Philosophy. 


Ms. Shambhavi Goswami, Research Executive

Shambhavi is engaged as a Research Executive at CSLR, where she has led several research projects examining the connections between criminal justice and society. She has done a Diploma in International Environmental Law and Governance from the United Nations Institute of Training and Research. She has worked as a Researcher at the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi and interned with the National Human Rights Commission, Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) and at the Chambers of Mr. Rajesh Mahajan, Additional Standing Counsel (Crl.), Govt of NCT, Delhi. She was awarded the best paper presenter in the National Seminar On Social Justice For Persons With Disabilities Organised by the Faculty of Law, Delhi University.

Arvind is currently engaged as a Research Executive at CSLR, where he has led a number of research projects examining the connections between criminal justice and society. He holds a Diploma in Corporate Law from National Law University, Delhi and has interned at AZB & Partners, Vaish Associates & Advocates and Lexport. He has many publications under his belt in various legal blogs and periodicals, including Live Law, Bar & Bench, and others.
