Abstract
Many children experience violence across all stages
of childhood, in various settings, and time and again at the hands of trusted
individuals with whom they interact frequently. Violence against children
includes all forms of violence that are perpetrated against a person who is
below 18 years of age. About 1 billion children have endured or experienced
physical, mental or emotional violence. The article intends to analyse the
impact of violence on children. It also deals with violence against children
during the COVID 19 pandemic.
